On March 6th the Kherson court of appeal dismissed the complaint made by the lawyers of the journalist Kirill Vyshinsky concerning the extension of the period of detention of their client.

In addition, the editor-in-chief of RIA "Novosti Ukraine" Kirill Vyshinsky was handed an indictment and a register of pre-trial investigation materials. Also, according to the lawyer of the journalist Andrey Domansky, the indictment was sent to one of district courts of Kiev for further consideration.

In connection with the refusal to satisfy the appeal concerning the extension of the arrest, on March 20th Kirill Vyshinsky will be transferred to Kiev to participate in a hearing in the Supreme Court.

As a reminder, the editor-in-chief of RIA "Novosti Ukraine" Kirill Vyshinsky was detained on May 15th by the SBU during a search in his apartment.
